I herniated my L5/S1 disc several months ago, and today I’m back to 100%. Throughout my recovery, Dr. Keegan was realistic, straightforward, and honest about the process every step of the way. He took the time to tailor my treatment and exercises to fit my specific needs, including working around my lack of flexibility. His approach helped me make steady progress without unrealistic expectations, and the results speak for themselves. I highly recommend Dr. Keegan to anyone dealing with a back injury or looking for a knowledgeable, practical physical therapist.
We used Keegan’s services for my son’s knee. After going back and forth with these big PT clinics and no real solution was found. Until Keegan was recommended to us by our PCP. Keegan customized a routine for our son who plays Ice Hockey at a high competitive level. His knee is 100% now and his balance is so much better. Id recommend him 1000 times.
Over the past few years, I have taken my 3 sons (ages 13-22) to PTH Physical Therapy for different sports injuries – mostly due to lacrosse (shoulder, hip, back). The initial exam was extremely thorough to evaluate the problem and its cause. Very different than any other PT office where you are given the cookie cutter once over and a printed sheet of exercises to do. If you want improvement that treats the root cause so you do not have the same issues again – this is where you need to go! Do not waste your copay on repetitive sessions somewhere else where they just watch you go through your exercises.
Keegan McConnell was my physical therapist following knee replacement surgery. He came to my home and was dependable and on time. He worked with me where I was at and progressed me as needed. He is skilled in assessment and creative in therapy. He made it fun even through the pain, and I progressed beyond my surgeons expectations in the first six weeks. We continued to work together until balance and strength were satisfactory. I do not hesitate to recommend Keegan as your home therapist.
Working with Keegan has been great! Communication, accessibility, and care are by far the best words to describe my experience with him. He has been very effective at communicating the in’s and out’s of the diagnosis I was given as well as describing how HE would help. And it’s very comforting knowing I can shoot a message directly to him in the Healthie app with any questions or concerns and get a response without having to jump through hoops.
His accessibility is awesome in that we were able to set up sessions at a time that was convenient for me. And lastly, he is very personable and it doesn’t take long to realize just how much he cares about his patients both during sessions and outside of that by checking in to see how I was doing through the Healthie app.
I would highly recommend working with Keegan for any of your needs!
After only 3 weeks of working with Keegan, I was falling asleep easier, staying asleep, and waking more rested. I had more energy and was motivated to start cycling again. After 8 weeks, I was again “blowing” past my cycling peers. I was also able to stop a lot of the medications that I was on. My wife was very appreciative of Keegan working with me as I was more engaged in family life due to sleeping better and having more energy.
Keegan has been a trusted physical therapist who has helped me return to full strength (on many occasions) through his expertise and dedication. His professionalism and genuine care for his patients are evident in every session. He is also flexible with scheduling, doing his best to accommodate busy schedules, which makes it much easier to stay committed to improving overall health. I hope I won’t need physical therapy again soon, but if I do, Keegan will be my first call.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. I first started working with Keegan about 15 years ago after my first ankle surgery. Toward the end of my recovery, he noticed I wasn’t getting the range of motion I should have and suggested I talk to my surgeon about whether the pins were too tight. Sure enough, the surgeon admitted he’d made a mistake and even said, “You have a great physical therapist.” (Surgeons don’t hand out that kind of credit easily.) Since then, I’ve had another ankle surgery and two ACL reconstructions from later injuries. Through it all, I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Most recently, he’s made dramatic improvements to ongoing back issues I’d been dealing with for months. Keegan is honest, thorough, and incredibly skilled. If he can help you, he’ll tell you. If he can’t, he’ll tell you that too—and point you in the right direction. I trust his judgment completely. If you’re in pain or recovering from surgery, stop searching. You’ve found the right guy.
Our go to physical therapy stop for the whole family. I’ve seen Keegan after knee surgery and a couple of different times for lower back issues. He is always fantastic to work with and really challenges your physical limits to help increase your strength and get your body back into working condition.
As a practicing physical therapist needing to do rehab of my own, there’s no one I trust more than Keegan McConnell. You can be sure you’re receiving the best available treatment for whatever brings you in for therapy. Keegan is thorough with his examination and guides you through treatment. Can’t recommend highly enough.
